About This Pipe

Brigham's "23" bent Billiard is a smartly curved and gesturally sinuous interpretation of the shape-chart standard, lending itself well to clenching despite its mass. The shank and stem here take on an acrobatic posture, and their slightly exaggerated size lends the composition a muscular demeanor, something continued in the gently tapering bowl. This combination takes on its own taper to the button as well, placing further visual weight on the bowl and pulling the eye forward while keeping the outline hearty.

Brigham's Voyageur series is a celebration of the natural wonders of the Canadian wilderness. Fittingly, the Voyageur series features an organic rustication, dressing each pipe in a dark stain and a rugged texture. Consisting of 12 shapes and offered at an attractive, everyday price, the Voyageur series is ideal for those who want to explore Brigham's catalog.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.

Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.

My first pipe. One major draw back.

Product: Brigham Voyageur (123) (Rock Maple Inserts)
Quickly picked up this hobby in the beginning of 2025 when I bought my first pipe, this exact Brigham. I now have a collection of savinellis, petersons and cobs also handmade my first Briar, and surpassed my expectations. I have a good grasp of how pipes operate, this brigham helped me understand the inner workings of a pipe. When I installed the rock maple filter and put the stem flush to the bowl, a very tight draw had appeared. To fix this issue you have to cut just 2-4MM off of the tenon. Just smoked this pipe today its really a beautiful burning pipe and you cant really get much better, the wood inserts really work, the smoke is smooth and buttery. After looking into the issue I had, others have complained about this as well. Im not sure if this is common with Brigham, but thid could have easily stopped a beginner pipe smoker just trying this out for the first time with no help. They are lucky enough that I like to fix things, and one setback wasnt going to stop me from enjoying this pipe....Read More
