About This Pipe
Extremely similar to their "29" bent Apple, Brigham's "36" bent Brandy exudes a similar degree of bend and curvature, like that of a Prince, but the bowl on this "36" is more noticeably tapered toward the rim. The heel and lower bowl feature an Apple-like plumpness, while the stout walls ensure sufficient chamber insulation.
The Mountaineer line is a smooth and traditional collection of pipes offered across a wide array of Brigham's shape chart. The finish is characterized by a rich walnut finish that always brings out the best in a pipe's grain. The effect produced is a timeless aesthetic at home on a back porch or mountain lodge.
- Madison LongLike all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.
