Acadian (84) (Rock Maple Inserts) Tobacco Pipe

Brigham's "84" Volcano is a fairly traditional rendition of the classic shape, presenting with a stout bowl that tapers gradually from its firm, ridgeline-wrapped heel to its tauter rim. Said bowl is paired to a deeply bent shank-and-stem arrangement that promotes a comfortable smoking posture while keeping things looking gestural in profile. Though the bowl's height varies slightly across Brighman's various series, the core components of the "84" always remain the same, making it one of the most recognizable shapes in the Canadian marque's portfolio.

The Acadian series is named after the descendants of the French who settled in the Acadia colony in the 17th and 18th centuries. Acadia, at that time, comprised modern day New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, but over the course of many centuries, the Acadian people migrated throughout North America. Honoring the Acadian people and their rich heritage, Brigham's Acadian series offers a number of their most recognizable shapes in a warm, grain-defining smooth finish.

Like all of Brigham's lineup, this pipe also comes complete with the marque's signature Rock Maple Insert. This special insert comprises a rock maple dowel drilled with a 3.5mm airway and pressure-fitted in the tenon via a special metal cap, helping to remove moisture and unpleasant flavors that develop during the smoking process. No chemicals or adhesives are used to manufacture Brigham's Rock Maple Inserts, ensuring a flavor-neutral profile that doesn't interfere with the tobacco. Moreover, because of the drilling, the Rock Maple Insert is able to pass a pipe cleaner, even while the pipe is still assembled.
