Smooth Bent Egg with Boxwood (299) Tobacco Pipe

Plump and supple in hand, this bent Egg from Bill Shalosky is all smooth curves and stout proportions, packed into a seriously abbreviated length of just 4.8 inches from end to end. The thickness of the chamber walls, transition, and short shank alike lend it quite a muscular aesthetic, balanced by some firmer, more Industrial lines out back. It's a great choice for a travel smoker, easily stowed away in a jacket pocket or pipe pouch — though its easy contours, generous chamber dimensions, and promised warmth in hand make it a true candidate for a comfort house pipe as well. It's finished here in a amber-and-onyx contrast stain, accented only by a thin wafer of boxwood along the shank. Beautiful piece.
