Pavel Gorbunov Smooth Pot (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Very much inspired by Russian and Ukrainian artisans, Pavel Gorbunov of Lithuania often creates pipes that hint at the St. Petersburg shaping style, championed by Vladimir Grechukhin. That aesthetic is on display here in this plump, compact Pot. With supple cheeking at the transition and an inflated rim, it draws some influence from the Danish school but with robust, palm-filling proportions throughout the shank and insulating walls. Pavel's dressed it all in a walnut contrast stain, displaying perfectly oriented cross grain and birdseye.
