About This Pipe Tobacco

Germain's Plum Cake is a traditional pipe mixture of which 80% is prepared from six different types of Virginia leaf. The remaining 20% is a specially prepared black tobacco made from air-cured leaf. The complete blend is then flavored in accordance with a 80-year-old formula, to produce a honey-sweet smoking tobacco with a pleasing room note.

Good tobbacco, tasts like black currents amd black berries but only a light flavoring, you get mostly the grassy amd hay flavors from the Virginia's, I would reccomend its worth it, the room not does smell like plum cake

Product: Germain's Plum Cake 50g

This blend isn’t quite an aromatic but also isn’t a straight tobacco blend either. It meets somewhere in the middle between a wine like spice and incense and a fantastic light and sweet Virginia. I get zero tongue bite from this blend and it is a wet but with like 10 mins of drying it smokes great.

I have been skeptical about this blend due to the reviews. But then, I got my hands on 2 Tins and after one long bowl, I will say that this mixture is pure bliss. The casing is light and doesn't cover the flavor of the fine tobaccos. A good change of pace and very satisfying.The whole session hit every key note. 5 stars! Mmhmm...Read More

Not for me, this one. I did dry it a little from the pouch and it lit and stayed lit well. However, from the first taste, all through the bowl it was sour and really unpleasant. It was so unpleasant that I can't bring myself to try it again. I could taste the wine flavour that some reviewers speak of, but it was more like wine vinegar. I am sure others will have a better experience, but for me, I'm not going to try again....Read More
