About This Cigar
Made in Italy from fermented American and Italian Dark-Fired Kentucky tobaccos, Toscano cigars differ from their Caribbean counterparts in that they don't have to be stored in a humidor to retain their quality. Referred to as dry cigars or "cheroots," Toscano cigars are perfect for travel and casual everyday enjoyment, and due to their strength and length, they're traditionally smoked ammezzato — cut in half rather than smoked in their entirety, effectively providing two smokes per cigar. Brenta is a unique blend from the brand, as it's the first cigar Toscano has produced that utilizes air-cured tobacco. Specifically, Brenta's blend comprises a unique leaf called Nostrano del Brenta, which has been grown in the Brenta Valley of Northern Italy since 1550. A Cuban-seed varietal, this leaf is aged for between three and five years before being rolled into a 4.5" x 56 Figurado with an open cap, with each rolled cigar allowed to cure and age for an additional six months before packaging. Brenta is one of Toscano's most accessible blends, being more medium-bodied than their other cigars, and its convenient size ensures it can be enjoyed whenever it's convenient.
