About This Cigar
Featuring the same Indonesian Besuki binder and mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers as the other Intemperance BA and Intemperance EC lines, Roma Craft's Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion 1794 separates itself via an Ecuadorian Habano ligero wrapper for a rich, complex, and full-bodied smoke.
The name refers to a protest against the Washington administration's tax on distilled spirits. The insurrection turned violent and lasted from 1791-1794, ultimately ending in the rebellion being suppressed by the newly-established United States government — its first true show of strength and defense of laws since gaining independence. In tribute to the historical event, each vitola is named for a prominent government leader involved in the engagement. Offered here is the 6 1/2" x 44 Pennsatucky.
