About This Cigar

The Padrón Series is a line of fifteen Nicaraguan puros representing a wide range of sizes comprised of long-fillers. Like Padrón's other lines, the Padrón Series features both Natural and Maduro wrappers for flavor profiles that run from medium- to full-bodied, and all the tobaccos used in these cigars are Sun Grown and aged for at least two and a half years.

Product: Padron 5000 Maduro

I have smoked these for the last 15 years. Though the flavor of the maduros is not complex, they are rich with notes of coffee, mellow wood, and nutmeg. They burn with a slow evens, that never bites, and a rich mellowness. I have never had one that was not constructed perfectly. I smoke them when reading, walking slowly with a good friend, wandering a trail with my dogs, or sitting on a stream bank after a morning of fly fishing.
