Cuba Aliados Original Robusto Cigar (5 x 50)

Cuba Aliados cigars were first produced in Havana, Cuba in the 1940s, the brainchild of Rolando Reyes Sr., who moved production to the United States for a limited time before permanently relocating to Honduras. The brand rose to prominence in the 1990s and, in 2012, Reyes Sr. passed away, the Cuba Aliados name later being acquired by the Oliva family in 2021. Oliva re-released the Cuba Aliados brand in 2022 with a new blend, though one which stays true to the heritage of the name. The Original Blend is produced not by the Oliva family, but Julio Eiroa of JRE Tobacco at the Fábrica de Puros Aladino factory, and is a Honduran puro which is entirely different than the blend Reyes Sr. produced while in Honduras himself. The result is a richly flavorful medium-bodied blend which was specifically crafted to emulate the cigars Reyes made while still in Cuba.
