The first cigar of My Father's standard lineup to feature an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, the Connecticut boasts a blend of Nicaraguan Corojo '99 binder and Nicaraguan Habano and Criollo long-fillers, all three of which are grown on the García's farms. Differing from most Connecticut wrappers, this leaf undertakes a unique fermentation process, aging and curing for three years to bring out the best of the tobacco's natural flavor. It makes for a distinct profile compared to most other My Father cigars and one that's full of nuanced hints of chocolate, spices, and floral notes — a perfect mild- to medium-bodied smoke to start the day.
