About This Cigar
El Baton is produced and hand-rolled by J.C. Newman Cigar Co. in Esteli, Nicaragua. It is one of their vintage brands made by their founder, J.C. Newman himself back in 1914. It disappeared from the market in the late 1920s, but was revived by his grandsons Eric and Bobby Newman in 2008. They are the first Nicaraguan cigar produced by the company, and they are the boldest cigar that they offer. El baton is a smooth, hearty smoke with a spicy kick that is offered as a Double Toro, Robusto, and Belicoso. This is the Double Toro, it's up to you to decide which smoking experience you're looking for.
