About This Cigar
Arturo Fuente Cigars was founded in 1912 by Arturo Fuente, a Cuban immigrant to Florida, and is one of the most storied cigar manufacturers active today. The brand has grown from a small family operation to one of the largest premium cigar manufacturers in the world, being passed down through the generations of Fuentes for over a hundred years. Their cigars are widely regarded as some of the best on the market, with a strict standard of quality control and aging that ensures every blend is consistent.
Arturo Fuente's Don Carlos series honors the company's founding patriarch: Carlos Fuente Sr. Don Carlos' prestige and blending acumen are continued today through his son Carlos Jr., and the tabacalera's Don Carlos cigars are among the most limited and rarest cigars produced by Arturo Fuente. Originally released in 2006 to celebrate 30 years of the Don Carlos cigar, the Don Carlos Edicion de Aniversario trades the standard Don Carlos cigar's Cameroon wrapper for the Shade-grown leaf used in OpusX. The cigar is also considerably stronger than the regular edition, while maintaining a rich and captivating flavor profile.
