With roots dating to Havana in 1848, El Rey del Mundo is a historic Cuban brand revitalized by Frank Llaneza in 1994. El Rey del Mundo introduces the Appointment, a cigar blended for those who understand that choosing the right cigar is part of honoring the right occasion. Handcrafted at STG's HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras, this medium-bodied blend features a rare Cameroon-seed wrapper grown by the Eiroa family in the Jamastran Valley. The wrapper imparts a singular character that defines the cigar's distinctive profile — a familiar taste for those who have experienced its unique flavor before. Beneath the wrapper lies a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, which holds together a mix of Nicaraguan and Ecuadoran fillers. The Appointment cigar is available in three vitolas: Toro, Robusto, and Gordo, with the Gordo offered here.
