About This Cigar

Drew Estate's Kentucky Fire Cured cigars showcase tobacco that, instead of being air-cured like most cigars, is cured over a fire — changing the flavor profile and adding smoke to the tobacco's drying process. As such, these Kentucky Fire Cured cigars present intriguing notes of roasted wood and smokiness akin to peaty scotch whiskey. Here in the Sweets version, the flavor profile is further complemented by a sweetened cap. Also available in the Candela-wrapped Swamp and unsweetened Original versions.

Once upon a time in the west

Product: Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets Ponies (10 Pack)
This bad boy makes me feel like the protagonist of a Western film. It's gritty, sweet, and smoky. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a harsher taste.
A stunning little cigar

Product: Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets Ponies (10 Pack)
The first time I smoked this cigar, it felt like taking a bite of caramel. It was so sweet that I was worried about getting diabetes if I smoked it often. But this sweetness can blend so well with the tobacco flavor. Only the first time would you feel the sweetness is too prominent. From the second time on, you would feel that the overall taste is like a cup of hot latte with sugar. This cigar is very suitable for enjoying when killing time....Read More
Not bad for a quick smoke

Product: Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets Ponies (10 Pack)
These are decent little cigars. Yes they are sweetened as it says it the title, so people who complain about them being sweet are not too bright obviously.
The dark fired tastes more like Latakia in my opinion but it's not overwhelming. It's a nice mix of sweet and smoky but they can get a bit b
itter towards the end if you puff too fast.
I like that they come individually wrapped and packed with a Boveda pack to keep them fresh.
All in all these are good "smoke break" type of cigarillos that may also fill that itch for pipe smokers that enjoy sweet English crossover type blends.

Something interesting and different

Product: Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets Ponies (10 Pack)
These are interesting if you’re looking for something different from your regular cigar. These are larger than cigarillos but still pretty small. They’re about 3/4 the size of a sharpie pen. Though I could probably do without the flavored ends, they taste super sweet upon lighting and the smoke-cured tobacco tastes quite nice. They get a tad harsh and hot toward the end, but this little cigar is quick and enjoyable overall....Read More
Too Sweet

Product: Drew Estate Kentucky Fire Cured Sweets Ponies (10 Pack)
Despite the reviews, I was a little surprised by the first bite. It did have a bit of Balkan flavor, a very light latakia feel, but I probably preferred the unsweetened version
