Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. continues the Carrillo family's Cuban cigar-making legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, who established a Cuban cigar factory in 1948 before later moving to Miami. Handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Carrillos' factory, the Casa Carrillo Pledge is the third cigar within the Perez-Carrillo series, joining La Historia and Encore — all inspired by the tobacco family's generational history. The boldest of the three, the Pledge is a full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan fillers and Ecuadorian binder within a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, marked by zesty notes of spice and oak with a backdrop of cream for a smooth and sumptuous smoke.
