Alec Bradley's Black Market series playfully showcases distinct tobacco varietals in a crate-style box as if just being unloaded off of a smuggling ship. The original Black Market, offered here, highlights Panamanian tobacco — an uncommon varietal — featuring a Nicaraguan wrapper, Sumatran binder, and fillers from Honduras and Panama. Alec Bradley founder Alan Rubin created 18 different blends with Panamanian tobacco to find which best showcased this unique varietal, and the result is this Black Market cigar.

The flavor is very mild, almost bland for a maduro cigar. I can't seem to get them to burn evenly and they seem a little too tight for an enjoyable draw. I believe I'll stick with the My Father Opulencia Torpedos and the trustworthy Rocky Patel The Edge
