Tobacco Jar Ceramic Round (Made in Italy)

Some time back, the head of our shipping department brought in a bunch of ashtrays to offer for the taking. They didn't last long, and the reason they didn't last long was this: they were old-school, vintage - the kind of heavy ceramic, black. orange, and earth-tone numbers many of us remembered grandfathers and uncles keeping around the house.

I mention this of course because it's the first thing I was reminded of when these tobacco jars showed up. Ceramic, stoutly rounded, and bearing the same kind of relaxed, dark/warm palette, they'd have looked as much at home in my Grandad's den as did his bearskin and bucks' heads.

Aesthetics aside, I'm also happy to report that they seal tight, and even feature a foam sponge on the underside of the lid, useful for when it comes to re-hydrating or maintaining the moisture levels of your tobaccos. It can even hold approximately one pound of tobacco.
