A minimalist, no-nonsense pipe reamer from Japan's premier pipe factory Tsuge, this T-handle No.23 design reams a chamber to a 23mm (roughly 0.91") diameter and comes complete with its own protective sleeve.

Great price for reaming a specific chamber size range. Most reamers on the market now are the 3 dimensional variety but they don’t always work with some pipe chamber geometries. This 2-D style work great for my pipes that have a shallower angled chamber. You do need to exercise some caution when using to ensure you have even contact with the reamer across the full length otherwise you will take too much cake and expose bare briar.

I actually like using these on my meerschaums as there is some feedback provided through holding the reamer in your hand. You can really feel the difference when you get that last bit of cake buildup off the meerschaum so you know exactly when to stop. Keep the reamer stationary in one hand and use the other hand to VERY slowly turn the pipe around. Doing it this way gives you more control and finesse than turning the t-handle. No.23 not 23mm

This is a very nice reamer. However it is a No.23, not 23mm as stated in the description. Using high precision machinist calipers, mine measures close to 20mm or .78". I also have the No.21, which measures 18mm. This No.23 works perfectly on a meerschaum bowl that I've measured at 21mm.
