nting the ember from being smothered. The foot circumference is large and shifting position in the bowl to get an even tamp is unnecessary.
The pick/poker is long enough to clear the shank of my Lumberman and Canadian with ease with a flattened face that collects debris effectively. The tip is a blunt point that glides smoothly along bowl surfaces without scraping or scarring.
