This is my first pricey lighter. I love this Old Boy for its ease of use and how it fits my hand. But in the first week of using it, I knocked it over on my coffee table, it landed on a fountain pen and a small spot of the blue finish chipped off. My fault, sure. Perhaps the chrome finishes are more durable. Will not worry about scratches from stuff I carry in my pockets as I am forewarned now to expect cosmetic damage to the blue finish....Read More

Let me be honest, I bought this along with the Kiribi Kabuto, to compare the two.
All the reviews I have read about them had me bouncing back and forth between the two of them, so I bought them both. Time will tell which one wins out. It has replaced a Zippo pipe lighter tho.
