About This Pipe Tobacco

The Per Jensen Legacy Collection presents four distinctive Danish-American pipe tobacco blends, inspired by the life, legacy, and personal smoking preferences of Per's father, Per Georg Jensen, a Danish Navy veteran who left a lasting mark on the pipe community. Each blend is carefully crafted by Cornell & Diehl under the guidance of Per G. Jensen.

Harbour Dreams is a traditional, ready-rubbed blend of aged Burley and Virginia tobaccos, delivering a rich, full-bodied flavor with hints of creamy chocolate and roasted almonds.

Being a pipe smoker for over 50 years, this is my favorite blend. Plenty of tobacco taste, with just a little hint of aromatic flavor that is extremely enjoyable. I wish it was available in 8oz tins.

Very good, but not what I expected

Let me begin with that this is a very well crafted blend. Easy to smoke, stays lit, burns cool and consistent. The tin note was quite a surprise. If you’ve ever had a Backwoods Sweet & Aromatic cigar, this smells almost identical. Took me back to my 20’s!
The profile to me is more of a vanilla note, than the described chocolate. All that said it’s very enjoyable and the sweetness persists from beginning to end. Although I expected a little more of darker cocoa note, I’ll continue to enjoy....Read More

I packed and smoked Harbor Dreams tonight as an after dinner treat, and Per Jensen HB did not disappoint. I was welcomed by a subtle essence of cocoa with a light hint of creamy sweetness throughout my session. This tobacco blend did not bite and smoked cool for an aromatic. I do have to note that I leverage the breathe method, which tends to help obtain a cooler smoking experience. I'm usually a VaPer smoker, and decided to branch out and try this because it's getting recommended everywhere. The tin note is comforting with rich smells of coco/chocolate and almonds. But when you smoke it, you get the full flavors of the Virginia and burley. No funny business, just a smooth and flavorful experience.
