Peter Stokkebye - PS402 Luxury Twist Flake
Excellent blend and price
This was one of the first flakes I tried, 10 years ago, hadn’t smoked it years since I moved on to the more “advanced” Gawith flakes, but was pleasantly surprised when revisiting it recently. Tastes as good as I remember, still at a great price seeing as Gawith just had a 50% price increase. Buy a pound to put some away in a jar. It’s good fresh, and great after just 1-2 years in a jar.
Cutters & Accessories - Dunbarton Guillotina de Saka
Price
It’s absolutely insane that someone out there will spend $400 on something that can only be used to cut your cigar …
Capstan - Flake Blue 1.75oz
It’s ok
If you plan to buy this because you think it’s what JRR Tolkien smoked then don’t. It is a completely different blend and STG is just capitalizing on your nostalgia to overcharge for this otherwise average blend.
Cornell & Diehl - Burley Flake #5 2oz
Do not smoke fresh
The components are of good quality but this stuff is tough if you smoke it fresh, I was eager to try it and payed the price. I’ll be letting g it sit in the jar for a long while, im sure aging will make it nice and bring it up to 5 stars.
Per Jensen - Legacy Collection: Port Guardian 2oz
Excellent Sweet and Tangy Virginia
This is similar to HH Virginia. Now Smokingpipes, please please do something about these annoying and useless china reviews.
Cornell & Diehl - Sun Bear Navy Cask 2oz
Amazing
Could we please do something to stop China from spamming the reviews ?
Seattle Pipe Club - Christmas Spirit 2023 4oz
Not worth the price
Sutliff tobacco has no business being this ridiculously expensive, this is basically the price of Samuel Gawith or Esoterica and nowhere close to the quality.
Cornell & Diehl - Folklore 16oz
These “reviews “
I love how all the “reviews” are just people either complaining or flexing the fact they were able to get it lol. I wasn’t able to get any but that is my own fault , so this review is for the “reviews” lol.
Solani - Silver Label - 660 100g
Good, but expensive
I liked it but personally do not believe its worth the high price tag, perhaps i had it too young but i have no way of knowing how old the tin is since there is no date.
Samuel Gawith - 1792 Flake 50g
Love or Hate.
This was my first lakeland flake, and i dont think its a good one to start with, 2 years ago i bought a tin that was already 5 years old and i still haven't finished it. I can smoke perique heavy burley blends without problems but this is the only blend that make me sit down, very strong and unique flavor. Not for me but i won't say its a bad tobacco, its high quality and all but I guess its at the top of the lakeland totem pole.
