About Me:
I suppose you can still call me a newbie. I have been smoking a pipe on and off for about 5 years. I have been more dedicated the last 3 years.

Cornell & Diehl - Old Grove 2oz
Pleasant
TIn and room note are pleasant. The taste is best described, in my head, as grassy. It is sweet and hay like. The tin note reminds me of half and half. It is a very pleasant and cool smoke and the retro hale is nice.

Rivertown Tobacco Works - Maple Cask
Not all it is cracked up to be.
First smoke: it has a nice tin note. The first few puffs were tasty as well, but it needs to to smoked slower or it will get hot and tasteless. I tend to be a fast smoker deep draws and this tobacco lends itself to a shallow draws. Second Smoke: it seems to burn hot and was tasteless. I was a little disappointed. I might have caused the issue with adding a moisture disk and maybe it needs to be a little dryer. I added to a tin that I have Royal comfort and Aristocrat(En Fuego Blend).

Rivertown Tobacco Works - Oak & Ember
English Aromatic Vibe?
The Oak & Ember is pretty close to an English aromatic. I will jar it up and smoke it every once in a while. It is just my preference. It does pair nicely with my yerba mate, peppermint, coffee and honey. So if you like to smoke in the morning with your coffee you might like it.

Lane Limited - RLP-6
pleasant smoke
just lit my first bowl. I one bought 1 oz but would definitely buy more of the it is not heavy on the taste but the room note is very pleasant. I prefer aromatics to English so if you like English this might not be for you.

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
Very pleased
Just got this in and was interested in trying this for a while. Right off the bat the can note and smoking room note are very much the same. The maple and Carmel notes are subtle when smoking it and taste hits the spot. After smoking 2 bowls I think the strength is missleading. It has a big nicotine hit.

Drew Estate - Kentucky Fire Cured Delfinas
perfect for a quick smoke
I like this size and length and the cigar works well with Bird dog blackberry on the rocks

Sutliff - Z92 Vanilla Custard
on the fence
I like it but not sure why..i end up mixing it with other tobaccos now. I bought 32 oz. I finished the first 16 smoke it as is and mixing with other tobaccos. Still learning the habit of jarring it and setting it aside for a time and co.ing back to it. I have decided mason jars are the best method for doing this. I might come back to this review later..update this need to be mixed with something else

Drucquer & Sons - Prince's Blend 100g
Not my favorite
I wanted to try an English and decided I am not a fan of this family.

Carter Hall - Carter Hall 14oz
one of my go too's
I love this one. The fruity notes out of the can or the pouch are the same as the taste and room note. I mixes well with half and half and Sir Walter Raleigh. It does tend to smoke fast though.

Cornell & Diehl - Nutty Irishman 8oz
wet out of the can
I am still learning how tobaccos work. This was a little wet out of the can. I ended up being impatient and mixed it with a drier tobacco. I can't Remember what it was at the time so have repurchased and will update the review later.

Sir Walter Raleigh - Regular 14oz
Interesting taste and smell
I like this it is an interesting room note out of the can and the flavor and smell are the same as the out of the can smell. I will continue to buy this and it mixes well with Carter Hill and half an d half.

Half and Half - Half and Half 12oz
Grandfather's preffered
I like this i am an aromatic fan. I have smoke this and is mixes well with sir Walter Raliegh and Carter hill. I am still ki da new to smoking pipes but have been trying flavors and families now. I just figured out I am not a big fan of english. Tried this again and this time I am loving it...but i mixed with other tobacos in canning jars
Codger Country: Half and Half
  • ► I have always liked half and half. My grandfather smoked it. I have started combining it with sir Walter Raleigh and have a daily driver.
