Peterson - Elizabethan Mixture 50g
Meat and Potatoes
My first Va-per . Nothing fancy just meat and potatoes , although I'd swear I smelled a plumb in there when I first opened the tin . Mellow with a little dark English tea / tangy perique in the tin note and in the bowl . A little moist in the tin so we'll see if things change down the road .

Mac Baren - Plumcake 3.5oz
Plumb?cake
There's more than just a touch of latakia in my tin , but not overpowering . This cake seems a little light on plumb as well . Definitely a Mac Baren navy blend with that "old time " English vibe going . I'll jar it up and check back on it later , stay tuned.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - American Delite 50g
Second try after the cellar
The " fruits " have come forward after being in a jar for eight months . I also detect what smells a little like almonds in the tin . All the flavors have married up rather well and mellowed a bit . American Delight makes my list as a daily smoker , great with a cup of coffee ! No bite , no soapy finish , burns evenly without too many re-lights

Peterson - De Luxe Mixture 50g
Desert in a pipe
nutty sweet vanilla Cavendish , try it with a cup of coffee

Cult - Blood Red Moon 50g
Join the CULT
very cherry forward with earthy Cavendish behind , dark with bitter bakers chocolate flavors

Dan Tobacco - Devil's Holiday 500g
cherry soap
Starts out with lots of cherry , some chocolate-ish flavors , then finished with the dreaded soapy perfume flavor

Sutliff - Maple Street 1.5oz
I'll try it again later
smelled great in the tin but was very moist . tasted great at first with a sweet woodsy taste but about halfway through the pipe it started gurgling a little . at the same time I started getting a slightly soapy taste . I'll let it dry a little and try it again later

Peter Stokkebye - PS38 Highland Whiskey
Highland whiskey (?)
Didn't really detect any smell or flavor of whiskey in this blend . However I did actually like the overall flavor , pouch note ,and room note . It reminded a little of Stokkebye's B&B . This blend seems to go with a cup of coffee really well. Maybe with a little aging the mild tongue bite will go away.

Peter Stokkebye - PS23 B & B
stokkebye b&b
The dark, earthy , chocolate flavors are nicely offset by the light vanilla/ caramel note . Overall a very subtle flavor for an aromatic .Nice room note as well . I can't wait to see how it is after a little aging .
