Rattray's - Hal O' The Wynd 100g
A Noble Companion
I find that Rattray’s Hal O’ The Wynd strides into the bowl like a stern, dignified Highland laird. Unapologetically strong, its dark Virginias speak first, rich with bread-crust sweetness and a wine-dark depth, before the earthy fire-cured notes arrive like peat smoke on a cold moor. There is little ornament here, only an honesty that rewards patience and respect. Smoked slowly, it unfolds with a grave, almost novelistic seriousness, each puff a paragraph written in bold ink. This is not a blend for idle fancy, but for those who relish a brooding, bracing tale told well and without compromise.

In the Shadows of the Cellar
After sitting in a dark corner of the cellar for 2-3 yrs., this blend tells its secrets. Sipping and retro-haling bring a wafting fragrance that beckons. Yes, that sounds dramatic, but try it and see if you don't experience the same thing. You will want to chase the fragrant specter but don't chase too quickly. Let it come to you. This is a great after-breakfast smoke.

Warped - The Haunting Cake 2oz
Spooky Good
A cigar lover's dream. Beautifully melds Criollo with the Virginias that marries well with aging. Lots of body with a subtle sweetness comes through with a mustiness of something like old books. This blend screams Fall and will be my Fall/Winter go-to for as long as it's available. Beautiful tin art makes it a great spooky season choice.
