Low Country - Hazelnut
Continuous blend
I keep most of my tobaccos in 2-4oz measurements, in jars for cellaring, and so that I only have a little bit open of any one blend. Keeps them from drying out and going stale. This stuff, though, I dump the whole pound bag into a big bail top jar, because I know I'll be hitting it up 3-5 times a day. Good stuff, lasting flavor, strong-ish nicotine content, but doesn't get boring. Not a super exciting flavor, but not distracting and doesn't change much as you smoke it, so: not exciting in the best way. Burley, Cavendish, little bit of top flavor and some sugared case. About as perfectly easy and simple as it gets. Add a little unflavored Cavendish if you want to tone it down, cubed burley if you want to boost the nutty flavor and slow the burn. Don't worry about it too much and you'll be fine. Does burn a *little* fast, but for the price I'm satisfied to just keep stuffing it in the bowl.

Wessex - Curly Block 275g

This is, unfortunately, my ideal pipe tobacco. Remarkably unremarkable, no real complexity, sweetish and savory, no bite, smokes real slow. Does not go out often or easily, does not taste "off" if you do need to relight it. Can absolutely be an all day. Unfortunate because the cost and availability are pretty unreasonable. It's very dense, so the ~1/2 pound roll will last a while at least. I don't know that I'll intentionally seek it out, but will probably pick up some more if it comes back at the same time I have the funds to splurge on it.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Aniseed Twist
This stuff is amazing.
I normally buy G&H twists for chewing, since they typically don't taste the way they are scented when you smoke them. This one, however, burns EXACTLY the same way it smells. If you're a fan of those Avanti cigars, but would prefer a base flavor of dark VA instead Dark Fired Kentucky, get this. I plan to buy as much as I'm able as often as I can.
