Dan Tobacco - Old Ironsides 50g
Baton down the hatches were going into the Gale!
This is a smoking good blend that has everything you want in a good english cake. Smokey, sweet, floral, barnyard with a side of Nicotine sweats! Who could ask for more! Get it today, smoke it tomorrow and then wait 6 months for it to come back in stock. This is one of those tobaccos. Don’t just buy one tin you will likely slap yourself later. But don’t buy so many that your wife slaps you either. I know, life is full of hard choices.

Dan Tobacco - Bill Bailey's Balkan Blend 50g
Good full english for the experienced smoker
This is a good english blend but to me it is not living up to the hype I have been told about it. Someone said its the orange maltese falcon. Nope. Not to me. This is not at the level of a Greg Pease blend. It is a good smoke though that does hit on all the parameters. Quality leaf, good blending, vitamin N, burn, its all there. Maybe its just not my taste these days. Old ironsides however, is on another level. I would buy that over this blend anyday.

Cascadia - Campsite 1.76oz
What? Leaf? throw it in the emergency cellar
This does have a top note but Im not sure what it is. I get red virginia with green tomato in the tin note and its quite pleasant. Thats where it ends though. The leaf is of inferior quality. After the first draw or two the flavor completely dies off to just hot air. This is proof you can’t take bad leaf and make it good just by pressing it or stoving it. My tin was 2 years old when I smoked it. However, I only smoked one bowl of it so take this as opinion only. Its now in the zombie cellar with the other crappy tobaccos that get smoked in case of supply chain disruption due to zombie apocalypse.

Carter Hall - Carter Hall 14oz
When I want booze I go to the hall
This is my go to boozy blend. It has a great flavor burns to the bottom of the bowl and is easy to light. Its a blend you don’t have to think about. Being that it is so boozy, its great when reading Hemingway lol.

CAO - Cherrybomb 50g
Standard cherry cavendish
This is a decent smoke for a cherry cavendish. Its ok but it nothing special. Cult blood red moon is the industry leader IMO. It wins in all categories but this is no different than the cheaper bulk cherries you can purchase.

A&C Petersen - Escudo Navy Deluxe 50g
Solid vaper with flavor and strength
This is a banger of a vaper. It has all the hallmarks of your average va flake; bread, honey and citrus, with the deep dark fruit and spice of perique. What sets this vapor above the average one is body and strength. When most people think of Virginia tobacco they think mild in strength due to the high sugar content. While the truth is, there are red Virginia strains out there with nicotine levels more akin to burley and even knocking on the perique door. Escudo has chosen a red with a significant nicotine level when mixed with the proportionate perique in the blend, has some kick. That kick does not degrade the sweetness and flavor, however, making this an example of fine blending.

James J. Fox - Bankers 50g
English with body and strength
This is one of my favorites. It is in the same category as Billy budd but a bit moree fragrant and not as strong. Oriental forward with a beautiful incense like character. It has a medium nicotine hit that won’t knock you down like some cigar leaf blends do, however, not recommended for the uninitiated. This is a winner. Complex and satisfying but not budget friendly. If your palette is not refined you will find Billy Budd bulk just as satisfying for half the price.

Cornell & Diehl - Autumn Evening 2oz
The only thing missing is bacon!
Sweet maple syrup and pancakes. This one is sweet and retains its flavor and aroma throughout the whole bowl yet it is not thin and weak like other aromatics. This one actually has body and depth. Take it slow though, if you chooch this one it will turn into the exhaust pipe of a 49 mercury real quick.

CAO - Eileen's Dream 50g
Irish Eyes are Smiling!
This is just a great tasting aromatic tobacco. It is wet, very wet, so drying time is required or it will get hot and bite you. But when it comes to sweet desert style aros this one delivers

Captain Earle's - Honor Blend 2oz
Great Vapor with a punch
What can I say about this blend? Cornell and Diehl just know how to take Vapors to the next level. This is not a luxury navy fake or a golden slice of simpleton. This is meaty, pungent, sweet powerhouse that backs up what it says (and it has a lot to say). Not for the beginning piper or the 1Qfers. This one has got backbone. If you like bayou morning flake this one is up your alley but not quite as sweet. Great vapor

Bengal Slices - Bengal Slices 1.75oz
Complex, Contrmplative, Confectionery!
I would give this blend 5 stars if I could get the nic hit to satisfy my vitamin N deficiency. But it is a little on the milder side. That being said, this is a winner and not one you would just smoke for the nicotine. This is not a blend you smoke when you mow the lawn. This blend demands your complete attention. The complexity and depth of flavors ebb and flow in and out playing on each other and transporting you to flavor fantasy land. Smoke it slow and in a medium sized bowl and experience smokey sweetness that is second ro none. This one can be smoked by anyone as it smokes easy and cool but will be enjoyed more by those experienced smokers who know how to get the most out of a smoke session.

Amphora - Virginia Blend 1.75oz
Deep aged Virginia goodness!
As if it were not enough that I like the blend, Per Jensen stated on a fokker Circus interview that this is one of his personal favorite blends that Macbaren blends. It is definitely not your ordinary virginia blend. This one is stoved and mature right out of the pouch. Deep dark notes of fruit and baked goodness. Smokes cool as a cucumber and is complex and satisfying. Nick hit is better than most straight virginias leading me to believe it has a substantial amount of African leaf which tends to be stronger in nicotine than American leaf. Just an outstanding blend that i have in rotation and in my cellar for later
