Just what I needed
I bought the least expensive cob I could find, so I could try Lakeland tobaccos without ghosting my other pipes. This cob has a hardwood bottom and the bowl (cob) does not get excessively hot. I am not so sure about the longevity of the stem. It cannot be clenched, so you have to hold the bowl. A tapered pipe cleaner ran through it just fine.

The best!
These are the best pipe cleaners I've ever used. The wire is strong, they are tapered to fit all my stems and come packaged in a cardboard sleeve. Will most certainly purchase again.
