Cornell & Diehl - Folklore 16oz
Aged 4 yrs revisit
I just went deep into my cellar to find my jars of 2022 Folklore after watching a recent video of Jeremy Reeves talking about blends containing Kasturi. I popped a jar open and wow what an amazing aroma. Mulled wine spice and dried stone fruits filled the olfactory to my delight. I'm now smoking a bowl in my old cob and the the flavor matches the jar aroma. All the components have meshed together to create something truly original and special.

Cornell & Diehl - From Beyond 2oz
Mellow Latakia
The 2025 version is fantastic! The Perique and Orientals take the lead bringing a peppery richness to the blend and the 2004 Latakia is really mellow unlike past versions and adds hints of campfire smoke throughout the bowl without overpowering the blend. Upon opening the tin, I was hit with the sweet, pungent, smoky aroma of a dram of Laphroaig 10 in the best way possible.

Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation - 4 Seasons Autumn Mixture 50g
Very Light Blend
Not a bad smoke but for one that includes Perique and dark fired Kentucky, it is very light on the palate. The Virginias do the the heavy lifting on this blend and even that is not very noteworthy.

HU - Makhuwa 100g
My Favorite
This blend has the perfect ratio of the components listed for a fantastic smoke. Sweetness, nuttiness, and a little spicy funk all play their part in making this my go to blend.

BriarWorks - Smokehouse 2oz
Top Notch Blend
The Dark Fired and Latakia play off of each other perfectly for a thick full flavored smoke. I will be buying more when it becomes available.

Warped - Scarecrow 2oz
Great Flavor
This blend has a lot of sustained tobacco flavor throughout the bowl. In my experience, this is rare for aromatics. The topping mixes nicely with the nutty burley and hay taste of the Virginias. Perfect for a nice Fall smoke.

Great Balkan
A great blend from C&D. Perfect balanced and flavor of an all day smoking option.

Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Ennerdale Flake 50g
Amazing smoke
Those who think this flake is overly perfumed are the same people who think pepperoni is too spicy and ale is too bitter. Great flavor from this blend. Almond pastry notes along with quality burley and virginia make this a real treat to the senses. A must try.

A very tasty, mellow burley blend. Flavors from all components of the blend mesh together nicely throughout the smoke.
