I had an English that bit my tongue at the first light. What I was looking for was a pipe tobacco that mellowed out the English and added some sweetness. Adding some RLP-6 got me there. As a rule, I don't care for aromatics, so I proceeded with caution. What I have now is a milder sweeter English. I can still taste the virginias and the latakia. Really pleased with what I've got.

I smoke this one around 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. in the very early morning. A great way to end any stressful day. The last half of the bowl gives me the "everything is going to be alright" feeling. No other smoke does this for me. Peace be with you. Randall S.

I think the topping is raspberry. It's done with a very light touch. Only noticeable in the top half of the bowl. I get a sweetness throughout the bowl. It's still an excellent balkan. Very smooth, no tongue bite or rough edges. Don't take objection to the topping. It's blended it very smoothly. I just opened a 500g foil sealed bag just arrived from Germany. The sweetness and berry topping is gone. I'm going to try to get that back by adding in some Lane Black Raspberry. What the.............!
