Filters & Adaptors - Vauen 6mm Filters - (50 Pack)
A good filter option
I like these filters and use them every time a smoke a filter pipe, which is often. I used to use the Savinelli wood filters which are also good, but the Vauen filters are more effective. Any filter will drag on the taste of a tobacco, so I tried to get to that perfect spot between filtration and tongue bite and these do the trick for me. I Think the Vauen filter is a little shorter than the competition, but again: less filter more flavor, more filter less tongue bite. I also have Dr Grabow filters in my arsenal for when I want a light filter. Think Carolina Red Flake v. Golden Glow, a light filter on the former and stronger filter on the latter. They all do the job to varying degrees. At this point in time (7/26), the price is ideal.
