This lighter was quite possibly the best money I have spent on pipe accessories. I’ve been using mine daily for 10 years without issue. If you are looking for carefree no maintenance, get a bic! This lighter requires a good cleaning with 99% isopropyl every couple of months or so. I personally enjoy that process. It’s like getting a new lighter once the task is complete and very satisfying seeing a nice shine after a little elbow grease. If you’re a lazy smoker or just don’t have the interest in maintenance, this lighter is not for you. Worth every penny. Should last me the rest of my pipe smoking life!

Grab a cup of coffee, a nice book or magazine and sit back for this pleasant smoke. Why I like this cigar. It’s not a pepper bomb, but it does have a really nice spice on the retrohale. I get some very nice notes of cedar, subtle hint of grass with a sweet natural tobacco undertone. A little bit of fresh earth/soil and as you smoke down a lovely mellow chocolate note in the final third. This cigar is for those who like a more finessed smoke. Something that you take your time with so you don’t miss the subtle transitions this blend offers. This one really takes off with a nice coffee in the morning or a 110+ proof bourbon in the evening. It’s all about how this smoke compliments the beverage and vice versa.
