Sillem's - Commodore Flake 50g
Interesting Dark Fired blend.
There's a topping on this which is very reminiscent of Revor Plug (an odd whiff of blueberries or slows) it gives it a bit of a perfumed or an incense/spice quality but it's savoury, not sweet. It is identical to Robert McConnell's Latakia Flake but I suspect the Latakia content is far lower than advertised and the KY is higher with quite a chunk of high quality cavendished tobacco which adds to the creaminess of this smoke. A very nice and smooth smoke though, with nice florals and best not dried out too thoroughly.

Solani - Silver Label - 660 100g
A solid favorite
This is one of my favorite blends of all time. I prefer it to Orlik's DFK and Peter Heinrich's Dark Strong Flake and it's more robust than either. It ages incredibly well (but it does get spicier). Genuinely fabulous stuff, worth every single penny.
