Very nice. Tastes like sweet plum, with full and rich smoke. A great everyday smoke with no bite at all. Easy to prepare—just slice, rub out, let it sit for 15 minutes, then load your pipe and enjoy. I truly wish they’d bring it back in bulk!

From Bold Latakia to Fruity Elegance
I really enjoy this blend it's perfectly balanced in every way: taste, tin note, and room note. It has an earthy profile without being overly heavy. The Latakia stands out initially, but as the bowl progresses, the fruity orientals begin to shine through beautifully. I find it a bit stronger in nicotine than some have mentioned, at least for me personally. Cheers!
Peterson - Nightcap 50g
Nightcap
First thing I get is a tingle on my tongue, which I find pleasant, followed by that peppery Perique. Beef jerky. Great mouthfeel, like a chewy smoke but oh so smooth. Some bread and floral wood flavors come in and help balance everything out. I don't really get any of that "darkly sweet" flavor. Nightcap is strong and robust, definitely meant to be enjoyed after a meal.

Great smell and in direct competition with escudo coin flake. Beautifully formed coin flakes, moisture out of tin good maybe need 5 minutes drying time before loading pipe if you do not rub it out, which I normally do not do. Still determining if I prefer this to escudo or visa versa more smokes needed. But very good smoke and tobacco.

This blends has a weird rep in the forums but my experience tells me this is just a good fuller flavored, super pleasurable Virginia. Might have a top note but it's subtle and only adds in a positive way. I really enjoy this blend and will always have some on hand

This is easily one of my favorite tobaccos. Right out of the tin, it hits you with a bold, fermented aroma. The smoke is smooth yet complex, with distinct notes of anise, wood, caramel, and a hint of charcoal. It’s a rich, full-bodied experience that might not be ideal for those with a sensitive stomach or anyone looking for something mild in nicotine. But if you enjoy strong, full-flavored tobacco, this should definitely be one of your top picks.
