I’ve spent the first several years of my pipe smoking journey in the land of aromatic blends. I wanted to try some non aromatic blends and chose this as an experiment to try and learn about how Virginia tastes. This tobacco smokes smooth and slow for me, which is my ideal pace. I find the blend to be most enjoyable when I keep it cool which is easy with this broken flake. There is just a bit of zestiness to the flavor at cooler temps. My wife bought me a Chacom Jurassic 268 recently and I’ve devoted that pipe to this blend. I’ve enjoyed every minute of the break in process and look forward to having Virginia No. 1 on hand for many years to come. I highly recommend this blend!
