This is my first time having baccy with Deer Tongue and I RMO cigarettes. Yuck, never again! To me it doesn't have a "vanilla type" taste at all, more like perfume/incense. Not good at all! I would take Latakia or Perique over Deer Tongue any day and I'm not really big on those much. People that like this nasty baccy can have it!

Horrible! I thought I would like it because it is aged in whiskey barrels (or whatever). I prefer Kentucky bourbon over anything. I don't know if it's the hickory nuts or what, I just do NOT like the taste of this. I am a RMO cigarette smoker btw. I mixed a pouch of Missouri Meerschaum Malta with this which made it a little better, but I can still taste whatever it is in the Reiner that I don't like. I will add some of my American Club Red to make it more tolerable (sp?), to smoke. To me, CAO Moontrance is so much better!
