Cornell & Diehl - Carolina Red Flake 2oz
Just picked up a tin of this today.
I’m not a huge fan of just Virginia blends. But the pipe shop that I go to has had this on the shelf for a while now. So today I swing by to grab some more pipe cleaners. And this was still there so l grabbed a tin of it. This is a really grate bland. Tons of flavor I’m about halfway through the bowl right now and it’s just getting better. I might have to head back to the pipe shop and grab the remaining four tins that are there and put them in my cellar and see how they age. Just another great blend from C/D

Cornell & Diehl - Sun Bear Black Locust 2oz
No flavor at all..
I just got to try this blend yesterday. The smoke shop that I go to has a bunch of this in tins. So with the new sun bear coming out in a few days I thought I would try this one. So I purchased a tin and my son who smokes a pipe as well went upstairs to have a drink and try this blend. I opened the tin it smelled great. So I packed my pipe and hit it with some flame 🔥 and I got absolutely nothing!!! I couldn’t believe it. So I tamped down the tobacco and lit it again. Lots of smoke but absolutely no flavor. I thought it was just me and then my son tried it and said the same thing..This is the only blend that I have ever had that I got absolutely nothing from it.

My absolute favorite blend!
I absolutely love Pirate Kake. I smoke this every day and all day. I love the flavor this blend brings out from opening the tin to the first light. It’s a great smoke. I’m stocking up on this by the pound. I can’t wait to see what it’s like a year or two from now. C&D please never stop making this beautiful blend. 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️
