Gawith Hoggarth & Co. - Aniseed Twist
Eh, it’s just ok.
I’ve tried most of the Gawith Hoggarth ropes and so far this is my least favorite. I don’t get any flavor when I smoke it and no real smell from the unburnt tobacco either. I was excited for this one since it was flavored with aniseed, but that seems like an afterthought in this. It has a very slight sweetness that I get from a retrohale but other than that it’s just plain. I also have to do a lot of relights with it which is never fun.

Surprisingly good.
This is actually a really good blend, I do need to rub it out a bit but once it’s packed and lit it smokes great. It has a subtle sweetness to it that I get on a retrohale, I don’t taste any grassy notes.
