The Best Tobacco For Guests
When smoking this tobacco around guests they complement how good it smells. Accordingly this pipe is a great ambassador to the non-pipe community to the pipe community. The blend is sweet and I notice vanilla mostly while smoking it. I think it is a blend that requires a refined pallet to taste all of the flavors of it. A very good blend.
Warped - Saint Espresso 2oz
A New Staple
I was looking for an ideal aromatic blend to smoke in my Christmas pipe, I am glad it was this blend. The tin note is strong rich and flavorful. The blend comes a bit moist and requires drying time. The smoke was easy, sweet, and creamy. Genuinely a mocha in a pipe and I look forward to cooking this for years to come around the holidays.
Missouri Meerschaum - 150th Anniversary 1.75oz
Sweet Dried Fruits
I tried this tobacco in a cob and a meer, it was sweet and mild leaving a good room note with hints of dried fruit, vanilla, and chocolate. Overall a easy crumble cake to break apart that smoked evenly straight out of the tin.
Cascadia - Trail Head 1.76oz
Good but tight
The blend overall was very flavorful and rich. Developing in complexity with each bowl. The tight portion comes from the plug being so compact and difficult to break apart. It would come off in these large flakes which would be hard to tear into smaller flakes.
Captain Black - Dark 1.5oz
Classic Cavendish
As flavors goes the black cavendish a full front and center. Rich and creamy. Definitely needs to dry prior to smoke. The pouch makes it easy to sample this blend and other Captain Black blends.
Peterson - Sherlock Holmes 50g
Wish I Loved It
The delightful smell of burley fills your nose as you open the tin. The name feels iconic who doesn't want to say they love thd Sherlock blend. The first few bowls I tried were decent and nutty. Then when finishing my mason jar of the blend I had this blend for a week and a half and something about the burley flavor didn't hit right for me and each bowl my opinion progressively decreased. I think it just a me problem but if you don't like burely I would not recommend.
Peterson - Early Morning Pipe 50g
The Best Coffee Alternative
This blend is part of my permanent rotation. It has the right amount of nicotine hit to feel like the caffeine from your morning cup of coffee. I noticed notes of dark chocolate and orange zest which adds to the wondeful flavor of the blend.
