White Elephant - Cameroon Brandy (9mm)
Fascinating Workhorse Pipe
Having read the history of "The Pipe" from the 1960s and 1970s, I was curious to try a graphite lined pipe in a more traditional form. After a few smokes, I am most impressed. While it does smoke a bit hotter than briar (probably more similar to clay), it is extraordinarily easy to clean, and, with a 9mm filter, it is a very pleasant smoke. It is also very aesthetically pleasing, and I suspect it probably does smoke better than "The Pipe" as the wood does act as a bit of a heat sink. It also does not seem to ghost (or at least not nearly to the extent a briar would), so it is my go-to for trying new blends. In general it seems to be a very practical pipe that gives consistent, pleasant smokes.

Best Pipe I Have Ever Smoked!
I recently got back into pipe smoking after a years long break, and decided to start off with a classic Italian briar. This pipe intrigued me, so I decided to give it a try, and I am so glad I did! Despite being rather rusty at pipe smoking, this pipe packed nicely, smoked cool and easily, and actually did not require any relights despite me being rusty in my technique! Oh and out of the box it came with an adapter if you do not smoke with a filter (though I chose to put a White Elephant filter in it, and it fit perfectly). Smoked cool, and tasted amazing. Shame these are now out of production. Smoked better than some of my friends' $300+ pipes...
