Caldwell Cigar Company - Long Live The Queen Maduro Queen's Crest
One of my now favorites!
Caldwell “Long Live the Queen 2013” — I enjoyed this great cigar today at the Low Country Pipes and cigars lounge near Cherry Grove May 7, 2026. This cigar was reccomended to me today by one of the staff at the lounge. I am so glad he did. I am a 5+ cigar a day smoker. I count this experience with this cigar as one of the best. I made notes through the experience. Pairing: Coffee with cream which amplified the cocoa and mocha notes, deepened creaminess, and kept the profile smooth Pre‑Light • Appearance: Clean, elegant wrapper • Aroma: Cocoa and soft earth • Cold Draw Notes: Cream, light sweetness • Lighting Method: Standard torch, even toast First Third Flavors: Cocoa, creaminess, soft sweetness Retrohale: Smooth, gentle white pepper Burn & Construction: Clean line, easy draw General Impressions: Balanced, inviting, no harshness Second Third Flavors: Mocha emerges strongly, cream stays present, white pepper warms Retrohale: Still smooth, slightly more pronounced pepper Burn & Construction: Stable, aromatic smoke Transitions: Cocoa-mocha, cream deepens, spice lifts Best Moment: The perfect balance of mocha, cream, and white pepper Final Third Flavors: Mocha persists to the nub (rare), espresso, toasted cocoa, touch of earth Retrohale: Warm white pepper, never sharp Strength Changes: Rises to medium‑full but stays composed Construction / Heat / Finish: No bitterness, no harsh heat, wrapper holds beautifully. LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!
