G. L. Pease - Windjammer 2oz
Outstanding!
A truly well-blended aromatic, with the rich dark cocoa leading the taste and black rum lingering around; all these toppings are smoothly integrated into the tobacco.
Per Jensen - Legacy Collection: Brothers in Arms 2oz
Americana
Very strong and yet distinguished, tastes exactly as described; make sure you're using a slightly wider bowl that can hold more flavors from it. Just be aware of the Vit N and enjoy the journey to the flavor town
Cornell & Diehl - Night Train 2oz
Advanced Briar Fox
I don't know if you're lucky enough that you may want a Briar Fox and eventually find this comment, this is Briar Fox premium; with more delicate flavours, and less of a “cigarette-like” taste.
Cornell & Diehl - Byzantium
Very decent one
This is surprisingly good for a bulk blend. The thing is, it burns hot, about 1.3 times faster than a regular smoke. It bothers me quite a few, so I usually blend it with others. Update: I think the ribbon-cut contributes a lot to the burning velocity, so not significantly faster than other ribbons.
Brigham - System Red Rusticated (04TT) (Rock Maple Inserts)
Should be a secondary product
The stem clearly deviates from the central, and occasionally makes whistling sounds while smoking. I will have this only because the refund process will be too much of an inconvenience. I’ve heard from Canadian pipers that they are desperate about the taxes, the communities are shrinking rapidly, maybe Canadian smoking products should be out of my concern. Update: After maybe 15 bowls, it literally dyed my hands every time. I wonder what magical ingredients Brigham has been using, definitely a newbie’s nightmare
