Cornell & Diehl - Granulated Perique 2oz
Top Noch. My daily driver.
The best perique you can get commercially. I smoke a full bowl of this stuff almost everyday. It's profoundly delicious. Flavors detected are dark chocolate, molasses, earth/mushroom, fig/prune, umami soy sauce-like richness, vinegar tang, black pepper/cayenne spice, damp wood, and a nice tarty plum finish. It also has this buttery, nutty, toast-like, syrupy sweetness every now and again. The flavors are great through the retro hale and on the palate. And the smoke texture is rich, full, and smooth. I LOVE THIS ST. JAMES PERIQUE.
