Solid Piece But…
I’m fortunate enough to have been able to splurge on this pipe as my first briar. It smokes very well and looks amazing. But… Two flaws: 1.) The stem is canted. It’s only a cosmetic flaw, but it was very unexpected from a reputable manufacturer and a quality online retailer. 2.) The nickel mount is not securely attached to the bowl. When rotating the stem to try and get it to align with the bowl, the nickel mount rotates and has even completely detached. I’m not dissatisfied one bit with the functionality, but I am perturbed at the manufacturing quality. Beautiful pipe, but be advised it may not be up to snuff if you’re looking for a quality build that will stand the test of time.
