Lighters - IM Corona Pipe Lighter - Old Boy Matte Black
Matte Black Finish
If you're like me, you're probably justifying this purchase with the idea that this is a "forever lighter". Welp, that makes sense if you buy a different finish for it. I keep great care of my everyday items and everything I own in general, this matte black lighter already has half a dozen small "knicks" exposing brass underneath, just from about 4 months of everyday use. This lighters function and fuel capacity has blown me away, no issues there. Its unfortunate that the black coating does not hold up well at all. I am not a fan of fancy flashy looking things, I know a finish like chrome would basically last forever, just isn't for me, but this matte finish is going to look like it's gone through war after a few years of everyday use. Good news? I bet it would still work fine. Do yourself a favor and buy a different finish if you care about long term look of the lighter.
