Rattray's - Brave Heart Smooth Grey (149) (9mm)
Unusual finish.
The overall design and structure of the pipe looks and feels great. It has a hefty bowl which I like. The briar is polished well. My only criticism is that the staining on the briar is spotty and inconsistent. Light and dark patches . Maybe that's a Rattray's thing. I don't know. My first pipe by Rattray's.

Great English.
I love the pops of sweetness combined with the smoothness of the oriental with the smokiness hitting in the back. A well rounded full bodied blend that goes nicely with a good Chardonnay. Recommend it. Smoked through a Peterson Irish Harp.

A tantalizing way to start the day . It's not for your milk and toast folks but is incredibly delightful and smooth and wakes the senses with a good cup of coffee and a good dose of Bach. Way to go . " Carpe Diem". More of that please.

Nice pipe. Glad I plunked down a few quid for this one. Expertly crafted . Thank you. Like the way it sits in my palm and its got plenty of heft around the bowl.

Okay.
Smooth English. No punch. Really Smooth. It's English Leather to be sure. It sits well with a good red wine.

Truly a great blend for those that enjoy the smokiness of Latakia. Most excellent and highly recommended. Give it a shot I don't think you will be disappointed.
