Tampers & Tools - Czech Pipe Tool
It's a classic for a reason!
I've tried a handful of tools to help me take care of my tamping and cleaning needs, but this classic has filled my needs and to spare. The only reason it gets a 4.5 instead of a 5 is that after a year of daily regular use the foot of the tamper has started to peel a bit. The underlying material isn't a problem, and the peeling is minor. I also wipe/clean my tool after each use so I already know that I'm not getting contamination. Tamper Foot Issue
I had one of these which lasted for more than a year before the tamper foot suddenly fell off. Thought I might have just done something to abuse it, so I purchased another. I have only had it a few months, and the tamper foot on the 'new' one is already loose. I'll be replacing it with one from a different manufacturer.
