Stolen Throne - Call to Arms Corona
Clarion call
This was a fine cigar. The burn was even throughout, and like a call to arms, the flavor was pronounced, but not overly so. There was a slight hint of astringency that I feel may have not been there had I let it age in my humidor for a bit. I had this cigar at the end of a long day of work with a glass of lemonchello, and that was the wrong way to do it. I should have had it on the morning of a day when I did not have work with a glass of gin. It made me want to do something. Get up and walk around. It filled me with a nostalgia for a time when I was in uniform. My fighting days are over, but this reminded me of them. If I get this again I will leave it for an occasion. This is not an everyday smoke, but it is one you will remember.

Like a old story
There is something familiar about this tobacco. Like a hint of a memory of a dream. Upon receiving it I opened it up to a very strong tin note. It reminded me of wine, very floral, like a port. The plug itself is very well packed. I was able to cut a slice and break it down to a usable consistency. When I packed my pipe and lit it, the smell of wine hit me again. Bringing with it that odd nostalgia whose origins I could not place. The smoke was soft, but held a flavor like that of a spiced cake. There was a sweetness to it, subtle but appreciated. The nicotine was strong enough that I didn't finish the bowl. But I must say I enjoyed my time in the dream. I do think I will find myself returning to it. And perhaps next time I will remember
