Lighters - Rattray's Pipe Lighter - Grand Gunmetal Stripes
My new favorite lighter. Very impressive.
The long thumb-wheel is very comfortable to use, requiring less pressure that the little wheels on most lighters. The flint-retaining slider doesn't have to be removed for inserting a flint; just slide it back and it latches out of the way. You can even see how much of the current flint is left without having to open the slider. And, there's no exposed flint tube to get bent out of alignment if I drop the lighter. The bottom cover looks good for keeping lint out of the fill nozzle, and the cavity for storing extra flints is a nice touch.

Very poor quality
The fit and finish are very poor. The blade grinds when it swivels, and it doesn't fold into the body anywhere close to as far as the one in the product picture. Both ends of both spring-bars bulge out conspicuously from the side plates even when the blade and pick are folded. I don't know how the brand is in general, but the example I received is gas-station quality.
